Safety in Hang Gliding and Paragliding
Flight safety is a combination of good training, good equipment that must be adapted to the pilot's skills, and prudent action by the flyer. The DHV devotes all its strength and expertise to continuously improving the first two prerequisites. In close cooperation with flight schools, flying clubs, and manufacturers, a high level of safety has been achieved. Since its founding, the DHV has been committed to making paragliding as safe as possible. Safety for the sport and especially for training is always our top priority.
Every pilot is required to check at regular intervals whether safety notices exist for their flight equipment. We offer a mailing list that automatically sends you an e-mail when new safety notes are available.
You can also find an RSS feed of the latest safety notes.
