Fluggelände Coo bei Stavelot in Belgien

Bitte beachtet folgende Meldung des Belgischen Gleitschirmverbands zum Fluggelände Coo bei Stavelot in Belgien: Aktuell gibt es Probleme in dem belgischen Fluggebiet, die Anwohner des Orts Ster, der auf dem Weg zum Startplatz liegt, haben sich massiv über durch den Ort rasende Gleitschirmpiloten beschwert. Wir bitten alle Piloten, die dort fliegen, sich an die örtlichen Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen zu halten, um das Fluggebiet der belgischen Fliegerkameraden nicht zu gefährden! Hier die Mitteilung der örtlichen Polizei an den Belgischen Verband:

“Mister President, I have been contacted by several residents of the village of Ster, which had complains with regards to speeding by the visitors of your paragliding club. As I told you during our telephone conversation, I wish that you make it clear to the drivers driving up to the start that they have to drive in a responsible way. You need to know that a good number of families live in the village of Ster and that the children need to be able to play safely there. Furthermore there are a lot of hikers and cyclists that pass through the village. If we don’t see any improvement, we will have to take measures to insure the safety of the residents of the village.”
