During the routine checking of the Paratech P5 27 and Paratech P60 27/60 30 paraglider emergency a shortening of the brake line from Paracord caused by shrinkage due to age had occurred.

In agreement with the manufacturer Aerosport International GmbH the DHV has decided on the following precautionary safety measures:

This airworthiness instruction came into force when it was published in the News for Paragliders and Hang Gliders (NfGH). The safety measure must be carried out before the equipment is flown again.

The check can be done by the approved manufacturer Aerosport International GmbH, Grafenstr.26, D-83094 Brannenburg, Germany Tel, 08034 1034 Fax 08034 3384.
